"Attabuoy...gimme a hug...!!"

Enjoy this shot of the Pied kingfisher. It is very difficult to catch this bird in action like this. My luck was definately in this day and I managed to get some nice shots of this beauty. This is the best shot I got of the day.

To capture this type of shot you have to keep all your senses open...you never know from which side it is coming as it's speed is like a bullet..:)

I used my Canon 450d with a 75-300mm lens. I had to pan with the bird each time it passed with a fast shutter speed to catch it in flight.
