Canon Digital Rebel XTI DSLR

I bought the Canon Digital Rebel XTi
about five years ago after taking a dark room photography class. Back then I knew nothing about cameras and I thought it looked good and so I bought it from B and H. This was my first real camera. It was great.
I took many photos using the auto settings. It comes with a lot of presets and I had a lot of fun experimenting with the different options.
Pros: The Rebel XTi camera offers many different presets to suit all of your needs. It is easy to hold and very professional looking. There are also a lot of attachments out there to increase your creativity.
About a year after I bought it I was so happy, I decided to attend a college for photography. The camera was then looked at with a whole new light.
Cons: difficulty switching from shutter speed and aperture manually.
Conclusion: when I was an armature, the camera is great. It has a lot of features and looks great. I would recommend it to a creative person who wants to have fun with photography. I would not recommend it to anyone who will be using it on manual controls.
I found the
Canon Digital Rebel XTi DSLR
very difficult to have full control over all the settings. Shutter priority works well for those who only want some control but for the professional who will be using it, I would strongly discourage them from purchasing it.
