Canon PowerShot A490

This camera, the Canon PowerShot A490, is one of the cheaper digital cameras in the Canon range and was purchased as my previous Canon digital camera was lost. It was only $150 but this was money well spent and even though I have had the camera for less than 6 months I do believe that the camera doesn't owe me anything.

It is small and manageable and even came with a rechargeable battery pack and the batteries. These however, do not last too long although would be adequate for family use. (We are currently travelling around the world and do find it hard to find places to charge regularly).

I will say that the photos taken aren't of a professional quality but are far better than what I was expecting for the money.

I would recommend the Canon PowerShot A490 to anyone looking for a cheap and easy to use digital camera from a brand that you can trust.
