Kodak EasyShare - Got It From BestBuy

In January 2009, I purchased my Kodak EasyShare camera from Best Buy. The camera is widely used and owned by people who don’t need a professional caliber camera and seemed perfect for me. I mainly take photos of family and friends at gatherings and holidays, or of sights while on vacation.
The digital camera has many good uses and a few downfalls. It seems to work best when used for non "close-up" shots. When used for close-ups the flash is too intense and washes out colors. If no flash is used, the camera tends to turn out blurry photographs.
It also has a problem occasionally where it will not turn on. It turns on and automatically shuts itself off. This does not seem to be related to the battery level.
Otherwise, the Kodak EasyShare is a great camera. It’s lightweight, inexpensive and has taken many good photographs of people and scenery. It seems best for non-action shots but is capable of taking them if the photographer is careful.
It was inexpensive enough that when it falls apart or becomes outdated I’ll feel like I got my money’s worth even though I don’t use it frequently.
