Powershot S120IS

I bought the Canon Powershot S120IS because I had a camera that was getting old and I wanted to update to a newer one. I did a lot of research on the web and talking to friends and family about cameras. I have always heard that Canon is a good camera but, have never owned one.

I went to Best Buy and started looking at various cameras and talking to the sales staff. The one that kept coming up was the Canon Powershot S120IS. The price was reasonable at $199. The next week I went to my nephew's graduation in a large arena.

We were in the nosebleed seats and I had no problem getting a good clear picture of him in his seat or accepting his diploma. I wish I had a tripod with me as it was a little difficult to keep the camera steady, but that was because of the distance and not the camera.

I wasn't sure how the pictures would come out from so far away but, they were awesome. Everyone is impressed with the pictures it takes. I have had the camera a few months now and my only issue with the camera is that the battery compartment is difficult to open. I would highly recommend this camera and will be buying another Canon as my next camera.
