Two Little Owls

I took this picture while I was on holiday in Lanzarote this year. Our family went on a day trip to a wildlife park and I took quite a few pictures of the different animals, including birds of prey, parrots, buffalo and some prairi dogs.

The highlight of the day was seeing this pair of owls. They just look so cosy together. It was during the day, so they were probably a bit sleepy.

I took the photograph through the fence of their enclosure by holding the camera in between the holes in the wire mesh. It was just a basic compact Canon camera using the auto settings. I didn't know how to work any of the other settings anyway. lol.

What do you think? Do I get a prize! ha ha!

P.s. This is probably the best photo I have ever taken!

The photograph is pretty much unedited. I cropped it a little bit using Adobe Photoshop. I also sharpened it to make the feathers stand out more. Thanks for the comment.
